Forum usage increase

There is a lot of information that is going to be going back and forth on the forums.... I would like to hear ideas to get people actauly reading them. I know we aren't all uber forum surfers but there is basic information like ops and intel that is going to be posted here that everyone should be reading. What are you idea to improve this link of communication. I won't garentee we can get them all to work but we can try with what we have.

we have had the same issues for the entire time ive been playing. how i look at it, since majority if decisions are actualy made on the forums, anyone who actualy wants to be a part of the corporations / alliances forming, theyll post their ideas.

and if they miss something that was posted on the forums, *sigh* sorry, was put out many times to keep up on the forums, their choice not to.

I typically check the forum fairly frequently. While we can tell other corp mates to check forum, perhaps we need to let corp leaders of other corps in the alliance so that everyone is able to frequent the forum.

Also, perhaps a regular EVE mail announcements with the forum link included, like signatures in emails, would remind people to attend the forum more often.

We are currently setting up an alliance forum. The delay is that we are auditing the forum / management content software for security reasons. The software we have selected is Durpal and Sabina is working hard at this.

With regard to the killboard, we need to upgrade it to 1.4 to resolve some of the dropped items issues we are having. The problem is the website that provides this source code is having DNS issues and they have been having them for a while. Sabina will resolve this issue as soon as he can get the source code.
